The build quality seems good. You can add your choice of grip tape on the handles. The rubber tire smell dissipated for me after a week or two, but just something to be aware of if you have a sensitive nose and/or poor ventilation. Read more

These are great weights and the rubber encased ends are gentle on any floors or surfaces which can be an issue. If these had a rubberized grip I would give them 5 stars since the metal grips will always have the potential to rust from hand sweat. Great product! Read more
