I have had a severe case of Seborrheic Dermatitis for years. It's not really dandruff flakes but more like plaque that I have habitually picked at and created scabs. I've tried everything, including prescription shampoos, steroids, creams, serums, you name it. Tons of otc shampoos. I've been using this shampoo and conditioner for 3-4 days everyday and so far, my scalp feels better. I think it's going to take some time because it takes about a month for skin to turn around and mine was very thick. I'm using Dermazen before bed to help break the biofilm and then shampoo and conditioner in the morning. The shampoo and conditionerare very think and concentrated, so you don'tneed much. I took off 1 star because the containers are so thick, that I can't squeeze them, mostly the conditioner, it just won't come out. I have to open the top and try to scoop some out with my finger. This product is far and away better than ANY “dandruff” shampoo because it gets to the root of the problem “pun intended” I have tried expensive products and cheap products and NONE have worked but This product absolutely does. I plans to buy more to have stock on hand because if there’s one thing I know is when a product actually does what it says it’s not long before they are bought out or sued into closing by the major manufacturers who’s products don’t come close and can’t compare. Shipping wasn't the most ideal. They got banged around quite a bit in the box so one of the bottles had a busted seal and some of its contents leaked out (minimal, but a mess to clean up). As for the product, it works great. I have short hair (typical fade with a #1 guard and hair on top about 1.5" in length). I use a dollip about the size of a nickel in diameter and that is plenty. So the price doesn't scare me, because at this rate, one bottle should last close to 60 days. By the third wash, all flakes were gone.
