What a great swimsuit! I got numerous compliments on this one. Obviously, the black color is slimming, which I need right now. The material feels nice and thick, like if it was a lighter color, it would not be see through. It was slightly small for my long torso but a few little tugs had it moved to all the right places and it did not ride up. I definitely prefer the full coverage in the back versus a thong or high cut. I read a review that somebody felt the bow was awkward on them but I did not get that at all. Overall I thought this was very cute. If it wasn’t such a unique style, I’d probably order another color! Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked because of the beautiful design but sadly it was delivered today with black/ Grey stains on the bottom half of it. I ordered it for my beach vacation to feel good and confident but it sadly had these terrible dark stains on it right after pulling it out of the package. I did a video review too but wouldn’t post. I am undecided if to keep this, but thought it was worth it to let others know why. The bow in front is much smaller than in the photo, so the looped parts are higher and more in the center of the chest, with the placement a little bit odd. The tails of the bow are smaller and do not cover the entire torso as pictured. The net effect is that rather than a high-fashion, statement making item, this is more like a Mom suit. The material is thick and the coverage is good -- if you want a Mom suit. It has a Lands End vibe. The L is about a 10-12 so it fits somewhat loosely on a size 8.
