I ordered this fleece robe because I had already gotten the Terry bathrobe from this brand and I loved it, so I needed the fleece version of that one haha! I am a big fan of checkered print and this is just perfect! I ordered a XL-XXL because of the reviews but it is quite big, I could have gone for a M/L. But it is my fault, I had already gotten the other one in the XL & it was already a bit big but decided to still go with that size because of the reviews, I thought the difference in fabric would make it a bit tighter! But anyway it is a robe to stay cozy inside so it is not a big deal if it is oversized. So I would suggest ordering your real size if you don't want is super big! it is still perfect & very soft and I am very pleased with my purchase and definitely recommend it to anyone who loves checkered print! Updated review 8/12: They sent me the wrong size robe that's why it didn't fit as expected. I was sent a M/L instead of XL/XXL. My same stars still remain as the robe is really nice I just was sent the wrong size robe. I suggest you order your normal size. This robe is soft and plush. It makes you want to curl up on the couch with a nice glass of wine. It's not super thick it has a fleece like feel to it. The best way to describe it is if a soft fleece jacket was turned into a robe. I expected it to be thicker but I am happy with the thickness of it because I live in a state where the weather doesn't get really cold even in the winter. I ordered the XL-XXL, I normally wear XL. This robe fits more like a L-XL, I expected the robe to over lap more when closing. It fits more like a true XL on me, if your prefer more oversized robes like myself then you should be mindful when choosing your size. I would maybe go up a size. Read more
