What I appreciate about this product was how light weight it was, almost unexpectedly. I am imagining and trying to find ways to store it in my bags. Its flexibility has been helpful in that mater. When I first got this little tripod, I was very pleased with it. I planned to put one of my wireless security cameras on it so that I could move it around to various places on my homestead. But after just a few uses, it would barely stand on its own. The problem was that the joints at the top of each leg where loose and there was no way to tighten them. I decided to solidify the joints. The legs would still be flexible yet stiff enough to keep their positions. First I set the three legs to their outermost positions and flipped it over, exposing the bottom of the joint. Next, I mixed an adequate amount of 5-minute epoxy (always follow directions) and spread it over the sockets of the three legs. To be thorough, I moved them back and forth and twisted them around a little in order to work the epoxy deep into the sockets. Still supported in the upside down position, I moved them back to their outermost position again and let the epoxy cure. Once finished, this little tripod was ready to perform its intended purpose again. Now it is very sturdy and easily supports my rather weighty security camera.
