This is a well-made item. It had no burrs or sharp points/edges, and it was cleanly printed and has given me no issues. It's a little small for my betta, but I suspected that before I bought it, and he seems comfortable using it. I'm trying to train him to use it for feeding, but he is a stubborn little lad who has his own opinions and will go in there sometimes as if he's just doing it to make me happy, but still goes back to his old spot when it's time for food, lol. One thing about this floating hide is that if you don't move it around regularly it will cause a biofilm to build up on the surface inside the top ring. He LOVES his hide. I ordered this, not knowing whether my betta would like it. Obviously, anytime you order something like this you take a chance. In the past, I have ordered the little leaf for them to hang out on, and my bettas have never liked them. So I received this, it’s adorable. It’s 3-D printed, but it doesn’t feel like stripy like some other 3-D printed items do. I don’t know if that makes sense but some 3-D printed items have a very obvious texture on them. This was very smooth. I rinsed it off and placed it in his tank. By the first day, he was already hanging out in it. He sleeps in there, he rests in there, most of the time when I approach his tank he’s in there. He absolutely loves being in there, and I’m sure that it helps him out a lot so that he doesn’t have to rest at the bottom of the tank and then come all the way to the top. I ordered the white color and obviously it is white. It matches his white tank and it looks very cute in there. It doesn’t stand out too much. I think it’s a great value and it’s easy to clean. This weekend I took it out and just rubbed it with my hands to remove a little bit of the algae that had attached to it and it’s clean. Got this for my 20 gallon tank, and it works really well! I was a little worried that it would drift around a lot and end up caught in the filter flow, but for the most part it stays where you put it, which is really nice! It’s also good quality, 3D printed items are always a hit or miss but this one feels sturdy and I don’t feel like it’s one firm grab away from breaking. Really great purchase! Read more

Rough on the inside, has negative space lines also on the inside which add sharp edges, fine filaments from 3d printing not cleaned up and a danger to my fish when, not if, they dislodge. "Simply remove the excess lines" doesn't cover how much they left, they didnt bother clean-up at all almost. Small size, the interior area is smaller than my palm and I'm a small lady.
