Florshiem has been around a long time! I sold them when I sold them in my store and they were made in the USA. I still have Floshiem shoes in my closet from the 1980’s and they still look great! The quality in this shoe is still impressive for coming out of China. It fits great looks well made and is soft and comfortable on the foot! If you have a wide foot go to the E or EE because this shoe is correct on the width!!!! There is not much padding in the sole and it is a boat shoe and the sole is none slip so it performs perfectly. Seems to be well made. Time will tell. Amazingly comfortable right out of the box. Seems to run a little small which I noticed in the notifications. I wear a 9.5 3E so I ordered a 10 EW and it fits great. I probably could have worn a 10.5 EW ok as the 10 is close on length but fine. Hope it holds up because they look great and are SO comfortable. I have worn the slip-on version of this same shoe for years and I love them. Wife suggested that a lace shoe might help with my supination (running over of the heals). These appear to be exactly the same as the slip on and fit very nicely. I have never been able to wear Sperry Topsiders as much as I like the style because the high sides rub and blister my ankles. These do not come up high enough to cause that injury, all good. It is beyond me how a shoe made in China can cost over $100.00 but that is their proce and you either take it or leave it.
