Ordered this when water started leaking from the tank. Couldn’t tell exactly where it was coming from so decided to replace all the innards. Could have replaced just the various gaskets where the different parts poke through the tank for probably $10, but $33 for everything to be brand new and avoid any future problems with those components seemed like a win. Before buying this, the #1 thing to check is the size of the flush valve hole. It’s either 2” or 3”. I read that most are 2”, bought a 2” kit and ended up with a 3” flush valve hole. Look up some videos on how to figure that out and check. With the right-sized kit, it was a very easy replacement job thanks to the well illustrated instruction manual and included tools. Let my 15-year old son lead the effort. He was able to do 95% of work with no questions. This is a great kit and I think you’ll be pleased with how it installs and functions afterwards. Read more
I lost my husband a few years ago & he always did our repairs so now they’re up to me. I don’t like to call for help these days unless I absolutely need to because of how ridiculously expensive it is so I like trying to figure things out first & try to fix things on my own. But plumbing? Well that is like David vs Goliath, imho. When my toilet tank began running water constantly, it was time to get my iPad out & find some diy repair videos on YouTube. A plumber on one of them suggested getting this FluidMaster kit & I’m sooooo happy that I followed his advice! The kit came that same day (you’re awesome Amazon!!) so I laid it all out, pulled up that video again & began. I had to take the entire tank off & was so proud of myself for doing it (a little congrats back slap for me! lol). This kit has EVERYTHING I needed to take off the tank, which was amazing! Whoever designed it took every little detail into consideration! It provided the tools needed to unscrew that big bolt that attaches the tank to the toilet, the container needed to catch any remaining water that came out of the tank (very cool!), the flapper, fill valve, flush valve, overflow tube & even a new handle. I was very impressed with this kit! It also had EXCELLENT instructions with step-by-step photos for replacing the guts of your tank. That made the job so seamless & unbelievably simple. Once I replaced everything, I just put the tank back onto the toilet, turned the water back on & gave it a flush to make sure nothing leaked. The seals are excellent, the flush was very quiet & it took me no more than an hour to do the repair. If I can do it, ANYONE can do it!!!! The arm that the flapper clips on to in our toilet broke so I bought this kit since it conveniently had all the parts we would need to repair the toilet for a good price. It came with tools to remove the existing parts and allowed me to replace everything in the tank easily. I did have to use a crescent wrench to loosen the nut holding the tank to the rest of the toilet on one side since the green tool provided couldn't get a decent grip due to the small space the nut was located in, but otherwise this kit had everything. It also includes very straightforward directions with pictures and diagrams, as well as instructions on how to fine tune the amount of water in the tank and used in the flush. The kit will replace all the internal parts of your toilet. I had no problems with the parts, except for the bowl-to-base rubber washers. I could not get them to stop leaking. I got two spare red rubber washers out of my spare plumbing parts box. Everything works now. The included tools helped with the installation. Read more
If you need to replace toilet hardware, this is without doubt the best product you could find. It has the easiest to follow instructions and all quality parts...It even includes the tools you need to get the job done. Still good a few months in. Not hard to install. I over tightened at first and could hear it still leaking. Had to take apart and adjust. My fault. Works great now. Read more

I don't know where do I start, but this is such cheap quality for what you are paying. It's amazing how they are able to sell so many. The handle is the cheapest plastic on the planet, even the rod that attaches the handle to the chain is plastic and is supposedly bendable, but I broke one So I used another one, but this time I heated it with a lighter and that worked. So I was able to get past the installation of this cheap plastic garbage set. What really annoyed me is this morning someone used the bathroom and the plug never went back down resulting in constant water running sound. In conclusion, this is such garbage I would steer far away from it, but it seems it's the only company that makes them. Next time I'm just replacing the whole toilet. Read more
