My picky betta loves this stuff. The ingredients are great. Some float and the bigger pieces sink but he dives right for them. Even the bigger pieces are still easy for him to eat unlike other brands of pellets (he would spit them out because they were too big). None go to waste. The lid is nice as it only allows a small amount to come out per shake, perfect amount per feeding. My guys color seems to have brightened to a beautiful red from a more dull red. I have one betta and some rasbora (separate tanks) and I feed them all this food. This bottle might last forever. Great price for plenty of food! I use Fluval Bug Bites for all of my fish in all of my tanks now. Read more
I’ve kept and fed many bettas over the years, and this is one of the best widely available pellet foods I’ve consistently used. The granules are an appropriate size for bettas and are very well accepted. I use this as a staple food and rotate it with frozen bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp to provide dietary variety. I also occasionally add liquid fish vitamins when preparing food to support overall health. One important feeding note: I recommend soaking the pellets for about 5-10 minutes before feeding. This helps prevent the pellets from expanding after ingestion and can reduce the risk of bloating or swim bladder issues, which bettas are prone to. Across multiple fish and setups, this food has supported good appetite, coloration, and activity levels. I reorder it regularly and consider it a dependable option for betta owners who want a higher-quality pellet that’s easy to source without specialty ordering. Best for: Betta keepers looking for a consistent, protein-forward pellet that works well as part of a varied feeding routine. Read more

My betta loves them! I give him 5 to 8 pellets one by one each day (as a supplement for his normal meal) and he loves eating them. They sink almost immediately so I give them to him one at a time, making sure he sees one and eats it before giving another. Read more
I want my Betta fish to have a varied diet, so I included this food. My fish love it, although it doesn't float well. I hope they will make a smaller packaging for this, because, like me, many people may only have one Betta fish, and most of the food tends to expire. Just my opinion. Read more
I bought this in July 2023 when my old man wasn't eating his Aqueon Betta Pellets. Those pellets are MASSIVE for bettas. They were going to expire in August, so I had seen reviews on this food. I bought it and since my old man was partially blind (diamond eye), I had bought a pack of pipettes too. He loved these, even tho he couldn't see! Prior to buying this, I bought the Omega-One Betta Buffet Pellets, which are affordable + quality! He loves both + I now have a set feeding station for him to get to easily! He refused the Aqueon and now I can never go back to the cheap foods. My rescue GloBetta is also half-blind; missing eye. She is in a temporary setup, and I also plan to get her a feeding station too! She's been raised on the awful GloBetta Formula Pellets which smell like Play-Doh and look grossly yellow. She seems like she likes it, but I'll test that soon. On the other hand, my shrimp is the best biased audience for this product. If they could write reviews, it'd be a hundred 5 stars. SMH, I give them their own individual pellets with Omega-Ones, and they love both. 💀 They literally reach for them and snatch it like I'll take it back. They're so cute These are kind of sharp, so I'd recommend pre-soaking or crushing the sharper edges. The pellets has a lot of different sizes and sometimes they'll all fall out with smaller pellets or get clogged with the bigger pellets. I'd shake them up every so often. Overall, I would buy again if I run out! Really good quality + if you can afford it, do it! The bettas and shrimps will love these! Read more
My betta is obsessed with this food. He used to be happy to eat anything I'd give him, but now if I give him a different food the disappointment is palpable as he chews it for a second and spits it back out. Even seeing the white container gets him excited. The granules sink relatively quickly and he seems to like chasing them, so that adds some interactivity to them - if you have a betta with eye problems (a lot of the popular Samurai and dragon scale ones seem to get diamond eye), you'll probably want to have a feeding dish for these. Meanwhile, my fish picks through the stones in his aquarium to look for Bug Bite crumbs. He's doing it right now. Read more
My betta loves this food. He comes right out when he sees the bottle and eats enthusiastically. His colors are bright and energy high. Great food to put into your betta’s feeding rotation. Read more
