This has been my go-to food for my Oscar, Catfish, Pleco, and Pike. It's been over 2 years feeding them this. It's good food. The only complaint is that most of the time the pellets don't sink and just stay on the surface. but overall, my fish eat it on the surface too. The pellets are huge. They list for medium to fish but I have 45 tanks running so lots of fish to experiment with. I keep Central American cichlids so for an example a 5” Cryptoheros cutteri, panamius panamensis, any many more that are unable to swallow so they mouth the food making. For everyone using both New Life Spectrum and Northfin both classify it’s a jumbo pellet. So any large that 7-8” will be able to swallow the pellets. I have full size Vieja melanura and argentea and it’s great besides that. It’s palatable to everything. But ultimately the medium fish is completely wrong. I bought a large amount thinking I’d go through it quickly but I’ve only for 2 species to feed it too. Read more
It is a good product overall and reasonably priced but the "Granules for Small to Medium Sized Fish" arrived as "Pellets for Medium to Large Sized Fish" on a couple of occasions which are bigger than expected. Read more
