This bench was ready to flip open and use, right out of the box. That was sweet. Opening the legs takes a couple steps, and not something I'd want to do on the daily ... but not problematic. It takes 2-3 minutes to complete both sides, if you are deliberate. Only 60-90 seconds if you are quick. Take-down is just a little slower, but not by much. Pretty simple for one person to accomplish. The wight is very manageable. Just over 20#, well distributed, and lots of convenient grips for lifing and carrying. The bench cover appears to be better/thicker than average vinyl. It should hold up well with reasonable care. The bench feels rock solid right now ... I weigh about 300#. I will be using peimarily for dumbell work, so I don't fear over-loading. No wobbles. No obvious weld flaws. I find this an excellent value for the money. We are OTR truck drivers and plan to use this for workouts on the road. Ease of use, solid feel, and relatively lightweight are all big advantages. If this fails in any way, I'll update this reveiw. I love this workout bench, the quality for the price I paid is great! It was easy to assemble and it’s nice and sturdy, while the weight, as far as moving it around, is not too heavy. The legs easily fold up at the turn of a knob on each end for storage. Very nice. Read more
I got the older version and it’s been rock-solid for home workouts. It’s very sturdy, handles a variety of exercises and stretches, and the fold-in feet make it easy to store when not in use. Though the newer version looks nice. I use it in tandem with these resistance band straps: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BHN3VL57?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title and the bar and board from this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CZHDZ3B?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title for resistance-style bench pressing. Pros: ✅ Sturdy & Stable – Handles heavy resistance and bodyweight without wobbling ✅ Foldable Design – Easy to tuck away when not in use ✅ Comfortable Padding – Great for longer sessions or stretching ✅ Pairs Perfectly with Resistance Gear – Great base for band-based bench work Cons: ❌ None so far! Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a compact, reliable flat bench, this one punches well above its weight. Perfect for resistance band setups, bodyweight routines, or stretching—it’s a home gym essential. Read more
It's a great bench over all. Sturdy, cool looking, padded pretty well. I only take off one star because after using it only a few months (probably only a total of maybe 8 times) one of the spring locked screws that holds the legs in place sort of....exploded. I didn't even know it was a spring locked screw until it came apart. I couldn't figure out how to fix the part and now the handle of the screw won't stay on so it's hard to open and close the legs. So while I do recommend the bench i wish there was a way to fix or replace that part. Something to keep in mind. Read more
Perfect bench. Ridiculous value. Firm, stable, comfortable and made of quality materials. Don’t bother ordering the older cheaper model that requires bolts and nuts to assemble. The newer one in the photo comes preassembled. All you need to do is remove the 2 lock pins (pictured), lower the legs, and reinsert pins. What is NOT shown in the instructions, and must be a new design revision, is 2 bolts with plastic gear handles (pictured) need to be removed before lowering the legs and need to be removed and reinserted once the legs are lowered. It seems FlyBird wants you to be double covered from any bench instability. It seems like overkill but better safe than injured. I purchased this bench at $88.99 which makes it in a class by itself for a durable, affordable and storable weight bench. I’m sure if you’re looking for a super heavy duty bench that will support huge weight it may not be the best fit. But if you’re like me and use this with sub-100 pound dumbbells and bodyweight work, I think you’ll be more than pleased. Read more
Pleased with product. I was very impressed with its stability; especially when you consider the cost. Read more
broke it on the first time I went to fold it. A bit of a user error, in that I tried to fold and had forgotten to pull the pin. This caused the pin mechanism to break off. My fault but still unexpected. The pin mech is not welded on :( Read more
