Assembly Instructions Description
STARLATTA Assembly Guide: How to Ensure Stability Many customers found the assembly challenging because this rack is designed with a high-precision, tight-fit interface to ensure maximum weight capacity once locked. Please follow these key steps to ensure your rack stays together perfectly: Step 1: Identify the Components Rack A (Left): Designed for Thin Tubes. Rack B (Right): Designed for Thick Tubes. Note: Thick and thin tubes are nested together; please pull them apart gently first. Step 2: Assemble the Left Side Take a Thin Tube and align it with the small hole on Rack A. Key Action: Apply significant downward force until the tube is fully seated at the bottom of the hole. You should feel a "locking" sensation. Step 3: Connect to the Right Side Lay Rack B flat on the floor with the large holes facing up. Align the tubes (the thick end) already attached to Rack A with the holes in Rack B. The tubes might feel loose at this point; simply ensure they are all positioned in the holes. Step 4: The Final Lock (CRITICAL for Stability) Stand the rack upright on a firm surface. Key Action: Use your palm to press down firmly on each connection point. Confirmation: Ensure the tubes are pushed to the very bottom of the holes. If they are not fully inserted, the rack will be unstable. See more

DO NOT BUY.

ZERO STARS. I wish I had read the reviews. All the negative reviews are absolutely correct. Flimsy, unstable, horrible product. I know “you get what you pay for” but I genuinely can’t imagine why on earth someone would design a rack like this. It’s completely useless. Every piece falls apart with merely a tshirt resting on it. The assembly required is ridiculous. Horrible product. Read more

Awful

Do not waste your money. The quality is awful. The rods constantly come out of the sockets because they barely fit into the holes. It feels poorly made and very unstable. I would not recommend this product. Read more

My clothes are cat fur free

I've been wanting one of these for years. Since I've been disabled for over 9-10 years, my wonderful husband has been laying the permanent press clothes on the furnit.ure all over the house. That wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have two cats (one of which is a rag doll & his fur is not only long, but extremely thick. When I get ready to put my black leggings on, they're always covered in cat fur. Since we've had the STARLATTA Foldable Drying Rack, my clothes (including my black leggings) are cat fur free. I knew we should have bought this a long time ago. Read more

Small and versatile

It’s not the sturdiest rack I’ve had, but it’s narrow so takes up only a small footprint, and the multi poles in each layer give you lots of options for hanging small things, and laying out more delicate items like dresses or sweaters to avoid the dreaded 1 line. Read more

Dont waste your time or money.

Dont waste your time or money. Too crazy to put together and not sturdy at all. It is cheaper to go to Walmart and get the Mainstays, which is super easy to put together and very sturdy. Read more

Having a helper makes things easier

Seems sturdy enough for drying things. As others have mentioned, assembly is moderately difficult but manageable. Center rods came assembled, just had to connect to the sides. First, I attached all "fat" ends to the side illustrated in the instructions. Having a helper made attaching the other side easier, as its hard to align and work the rods individually as they slide around. Have your helper hold the top part in place while you proceed to insert each rod, one by one until complete. Instead of using a hammer like others suggest, I twisted each rod while applying downward pressure to make sure they all fit securely. This method requires a little effort but was easy enough. LD,DR - Having a helper makes things easier. Twist and apply downward pressure to insert rods. Go one by one. Finished. Read more

Difficult initial assembly but sturdy and works well

The instructions call for laying one side flat and then sticking in all of the cross pieces before connecting them to the other; however, this is actually very tricky because the sliding pieces go fully into the outer tubes and then it is impossible to retrieve them unless you have access to the other side, where you can stick in a screwdriver to poke out the inner tubes (and if you have stuck the outer tubes already into the flat piece, then this isn’t possible). So what I did was to stick in one tube while carefully ensuring that the inner tube did not sink into the outer tube. Then I carefully tipped the unit up so that the flat piece was standing on edge. I stuck the inner tube into the other flat piece and proceeded to attach all the rest of the connecting tubes. Once the unit was fully constructed, it worked well. You only have to unhook two parts at the top and then you can fold the whole unit up for storage. When fully deployed, it is reasonably stable and sturdy, fit for purpose. The only other comment I have is that my original ordered unit arrived missing one plastic foot. The only remedy was to deconstruct the unit, pack it up, return it for a replacement. Painful, but there was no option to request a replacement foot. Still, I’m ultimately happy with the unit. Read more
