this is the BEST yoga mat i have ever purchased. with joint issues, comfort is essential. it is the perfect thickness that allows for that comfort without affecting balance on it. i love the fact that it folds onto itself so that dirt and bits on the floor don't touch it. cleans easily. i gloat just a little when i see the edges curl up on other people's mats in the class. i only wish it came with either a strap or a bag, but that is not a dealbreaker. worth the extra few bucks! I hate rolling up my mat. Inevitably, the ends want to stay curled. This folding mat is perfect. Folds/unfolds easily. Fits under a bed or other furniture. I didn't find it was as cushiony as my old rollup mat so exercises on my back aren't much better than if I was directly on the floor. It is non-slip on hard surfaces. It will move around on carpet.
