This yoga mat is great! Came folded into a square which is amazing for storage purposes. The material is super durable and thick (see pictures attached) and it is easy to unfold and lay our and refold again after use. The color I got (grey ) is exactly as advertised (but the other color options are great too!) and it fit perfectly in our home gym - might even be slightly longer than your average yoga mat. I have used it multiple times a week for yoga / resistance workouts and it has held up very well and functions great. The price is also excellent for the quality of the material. This mat is great for travel since it folds into a nice square for a duffel bag. I got it for my daughter and her only complaint was that it is too thin. She said that it functions just like any other mat, it’s nice that it folds for storage, but it’s too thin. I got her the pink one and I personally thought it was a nice dusty rose color. Read more
I got this mat because I have a regular rolling one but I don’t use the full length of it. I use it for support of my upper body when I’m doing pushups and planks. Normally I have to fold the roll up mat in half or thirds to get enough thickness and ensure it doesn’t get in the way of my feet. So I got this mat instead and it did not disappoint! This mat opens to the size of a standard mat but easily folds into smaller, thicker, segments for more targeted support and workouts. The cushion is great, the design is great, it is slip resistant and comes in great colors. This is exactly what I was looking for as I wanted something I could easily fit in my gym bag and not have to buy a super thick rolling mat just for wrist support in pushups. My daughter has trained as a yoga instructor, so I asked her to evaluate this mat for me. She likes it because it is thick enough to be comfortable during yoga or home exercise, and has small grippers on the back that provide stability on flat surfaces. She especially likes the way it folds easily to be stored on a shelf or under a bed, and can fit in a tote or suitcase without the awkwardness of the ones that roll up. She did several poses, and the mat it did not move. She liked the slight texture on the top surface which kept it from feeling slippery, and said it appears well-made and durable. It can be cleaned with a damp rag, so maintenance of it is easy. The seller's website says the mat is made out of TPE. I had no idea what that meant, so searched it online. Apparently this type of material is a blend of plastics that give it extra durability and elasticity, as well as being recyclable and environmentally friendly. It can degrade from contact with some types of chemicals, so cleaning with a damp rag makes sense. The mat's durability was accidently tested by my cat and German shepherd walking across the surface, but their claws did no damage while walking. Unfortunately, my dog also decided to pounce on it, and his front claws did make noticeable but minor dents in it. If taken care of properly, this mat should last up to 3 years, so it seems a worthwhile value for this type of product. Read more
This foldable yoga mat has a lot going for it — the material feels durable, with just the right amount of cushioning, and the textured surface is comfortable and supportive. It stayed firmly in place during use, with no slipping at all. The foldable design is a big plus. It’s easy to store and carry, and I’ll be keeping it in my travel kit for quick stretch sessions on the go. That said, the width is narrower than what I’d consider standard for a full yoga practice. I am new to yoga and picked this mat for its portability. I like the way it folds into a 12” x 12” x 3” size. It is easy to slide into my bag. When folded out, it stretches out to 2’ x 6’, which is a little narrow but plenty long. I appreciate being able to fold up parts of it for extra padding on kneeling exercises. It was warmer than the floor, for which I was thankful! I personally would like a little thicker cushion, but it makes a good portable exercise mat. Read more
