This is a great travel poop stool. It folds up so nicely and small. It barely took up any room in my backpack for an overnight trip. It's a little hard to fold and unfold at first because it's stiff right out of the packaging. But I'm sure with a few uses it becomes easier. It is kinda wobbly. I don't know if I would trust it as a stool for sitting. But for the price, I'm happy to use it for traveling. So much easier than overturning bathroom trashcans. Read more

For camping this is fine. If you don't mind doing a little maintenance on your gear. I like the size and fold-flat function. Quality of hardware is lacking, but still worth the $10. If you're wide of hip, long of leg, or inflexible in your hip you might struggle with comfort. Lighter, cheaper, and likely just as comfortable as those fancy $40-100 tiny collapsing camp chairs. I used it camping this weekend. I normally sit on a ground pad, which is super light and easy to set up (you just throw it on the ground). Hard to beat a nice little piece of foam. This little stool doesn't beat that, but its a close contender. We camped along a fishing creek this weekend. Water is high, so I wanted to get my butt off the ground and I used this stool to great success. My butt was not on the ground. Easiest to use on level ground, and when you set the stool up on a little hump, and your feet are slightly lower than the hump. I'm 5'8 with fairly proportional legs and a regular width butt. I found it comfortable in many different sitting conformations. The snaps and rivets are chintsy, I broke the snap on the second set up, and after the weekend I have 2 rivets trying to work their way out. No sign of wear on the plastic itself. Pros: light and portable, easy to assemble. Cons: not comfortable to use; extremely small, barely enough room for my women’s size 7 feet, tends to fall over. It’s good in a pinch if you don’t have room for anything larger. Otherwise, I suggest the larger Squatty Potty Porta Squatty—light weight, sturdier, more room, also collapsible and easy to assemble, I’ve traveled with it for years with no issues. Read more

I have always needed to put my feet up on something if I’m sitting for a long period of time. This thing is the best. I wish I had this in college. So far so good, super sturdy, even works as a sitting stool. I haven’t used it in public yet, so far it makes a loud pop when you pop it out to fold it back up but I looooove how thin and compact this is. It’s low key, perfect for church and other places. Bought because of a Wirecutter review, and can confirm that it's super portable and convenient! Great to store in my carry-on. It's short, similar to many camp stools, so I can't complain too much there. After 5 days of consistent use it seems pretty sturdy. The only thing is, the bottom edge of the stool can be slippery on smooth tile flooring, so I wish it had some grip or reinforcement there. Comfortable enough for one medium sized adult. Read more

Dangerous piece of crap. I bought it to help me get on tall beds when I travel. The first time I used it I put my foot on it a little bit and I felt it give a little then I tried putting a little more weight on it and it collapsed and snapped.
