I typically play in FootJoy Premiere Series shoes and have several pairs. One thing I have always trusted with FootJoy is the quality, comfort, and consistent fit right out of the box. I have even bought a new pair right before a round and played in them immediately without any issues. In the past, I tried two different pairs of the FootJoy Pro/SL, and while I liked the look of the shoe, both pairs were disappointing. They were uncomfortable and had a noticeable squeak while walking, which became pretty annoying over the course of a round. This current version of the Pro/SL is a completely different experience. The White / Sea Glass / Black colorway looks excellent. The Sea Glass accent adds some style but is subtle enough that it works well with a wide range of golf outfits. The Pro/SL also has a sportier, sneaker-style look compared to the more classic styling of my Premiere Series shoes, which I really like for casual rounds. The fit and comfort and lightweight are excellent. These are significantly more comfortable than the earlier Pro/SL models I tried. They feel great right away and continued to feel comfrotable throughout the round. Another big improvement is that these shoes are completely silent when walking. The squeaking issue I experienced with previous versions is gone. Since I normally wear spiked Premiere Series shoes, I was curious how the spikeless design of the Pro/SL would perform. Traction on the course was excellent. I felt stable through the swing, even on a wet fairway. It rained the morning of my round, so I unintentionally tested the waterproof performance. At one point I stepped into a wet area deep enough that the laces were fully submerged, yet my foot stayed completely dry. This version of the FootJoy Pro/SL is a big improvement over the earlier models I tried. Great style, excellent comfort, solid traction, and reliable waterproofing make these an easy recommendation. At first glance, these are noticeably well-made waterproof shoes, perfect for not only golf, but other outdoor activities that benefit from some additional traction on the outsole. The colors are great, with the sea glass variant giving just the right accents of color without being too flashy. The fit is fair, but the wide isn't all that wide - it may be worth sizing up if you really want to try to make these work. The materials are lightweight and not uncomfortable. Unfortunately, when you start comparing these with other pairs on the market, the value and benefits seem to fall apart in my opinion. When I try these on and then switch to my pair of Skechers Go Walk shoes that were on sale for less than a quarter of the price of these and are significantly more comfortable, it's disappointing. They may not be designed for golf, sure, but then when comparing to my Adidas golf shoes that have similar features, they still carry twice the cost. And as long as I don't mind a bit of water, going instead with some zero-drop barefoot shoes that are less than half the price as these just leaves me disinterested. Granted, these are not apples-to-oranges comparisons, but for me, regardless, I can still find better options that are either more comfortable for the day's activities or at least a much better value. These aren't bad shoes, they seem fairly good - and if you believe in this brand, then by all means, I'm sure you'll enjoy them. They're just certainly not for me, and I wouldn't recommend them - I'd look elsewhere for better options. Read more

I ordered these for my husband since he needed new golf shoes. He said they're very comfortable and fit was just right. he wears a 10.5 and that's what I got him. He said they were easy to put on and he liked that it came with two different colored shoe laces so he can switch it up or wear one of each color. The quality of these are excellent as well, which is expected with FootJoy golf shoes. The colors are also nice and it seems like they will last for a long time and hold up well on the golf course. The grip is nice on the course and the spikes don't seem to cause much damage. Read more

This is a nice looking, good quality shoe but the fit might not be for everyone. The shoe is made of a seamless plastic material. It doesn’t have any give or flexibility but it offers good support. The lack of seams makes the shoe waterproof. The plastic spikes have good grip and don’t damage floors. My husband takes a size 8 1/2 D and got these in a wide. Definitely consider sizing up and/or getting a wide if you’re choosing between two sizes. I updated to five stars after my husband has worn them several times. He said they feel very comfortable and they are truly waterproof. Read more
