Never tried collagen from this brand before, but so far so good. The suggested dose is 3 capsules daily, and that's really not bad considering that each dose has 3,000 mg of bovine collagen (in my personal opinion a more budget friendly collagen that's second best to marine collagen). The capsules are very easy to swallow, and digest very smoothly. There's some extra additions to the mix, such as vitamin c to maybe help boost natural collagen production and calcium to possibly aid better absorption of the collagen into the bones. So all in all filled with good stuff, and no pointless filler. It's safe to say that this is clearly not vegan, but at least it is gluten-free. The only reason for 1☆ is because after I read the reviews, saw pics n found out how extremely huge these are, and how many a day Id have to take I canceled my order. I can swallow larger pills, but these are huge. I really think if something is a truely good supplement the makers should be able to make it in a form easy enough for everyone to take. Force Factor is a trusted brand in my household so I was eager to give this supplement a try. I guess I was a little too eager because I failed to read that this is not a plant based collagen, so I am unable to take it. I take full responsibility for that one, because as I look at the description, it clearly states that it is animal based. So just a heads up to vegetarians & vegans. This is not the product for you. However, my bottle arrived properly sealed and has a best by date stamped on the bottom of the bottle. The date is nearly 3 years out, telling me this is a fresh product. These supplements are really large. You need to take 3 tablets, twice a day. If I were able to take these supplements, that is way too much for me to take on top of supplements already in my established routine. Also, if taking as directed, you'll only get 20 days out of his bottle. Overall, for my personal needs, this product wasn't a winner, but you may find that it fits your needs just fine. Read more
