Fit is perfect and material is sort of shiny almost, like in a dress pant way, not a plasticy way-- so you can expect to repel most drops or stains and wash less often. Keep in mind that the waist is high so if you don't have a natural hourglass fit you'll definitely feel it after a large meal, or you'll have to size up and it will be way too blousy for your hips. These pants are stylish and well made. The seams are uniform and the color is gorgeous. Love the touch of soft feel pockets and buttons at the cuff too! These pants are made of really nice material and feel like great value for the price! They have a fashionable design and look high-end in person. My daughter loved the style and feel—but they do run long, and since she’s not a heels girl, it’s a bit tricky. The design at the bottom makes hemming a little complicated, but we’re going to give it a try so she can get more wear out of them. I’ll start by saying it has been several years since I’ve last stepped foot in a forever21. Mainly as I’ve gotten older, I saw an huge downshift in quality followed by the style of clothing which no longer served me well. I was a little hesitant about getting these, but I’m quite impressed! The material is very nice, providing a decent give which allows for comfortable movement, while having a unique business like concept. I like that the material is thick enough to not see right through or imprint your panty line but breathable for Florida business wear. I’m surely impressed with this pair of dress pants. You can certainly get by wearing this as business casual with a nice blouse. They are pleated and more high waist than most of my similarly styles work pants but that’s not a deal breaker! These are actually as cute in person as they are in stock photos. I love the cypress green color and the cut of the leg. The buttons on the leg cuffs are adorable. I am 5'10" and 160 lbs. I wear a women's size 8. The size Large in these fit me like a glove. I have fairly short legs for my height, so the length is perfect on me. The Large is 41.5-inches long from the waist to bottom hem. I do plan to wear shapewear to make them more comfortable and if I gain a single pound I'm not sure I'll like the fit. I would have preferred it if they came in size XL - and I normally would not pick up an XL in a store. I agree with the reviews that say go up a size! I also hate the zipper. It's very 'clunky' and difficult to zip up and down. I'm still giving them 4 stars because they look great on and are well made. Read more
