The material on this is fantastic. I look smart in it, and the fabric is fairly durable. The pockets are very functional and even if the pants are a tight fit the pockets are all usable. They also aren't see-through. That's why I still have it at 5 stars. The sizing is a bit off, it trends smaller than normal. However I can still wear them even though they're a little tight where they shouldn't be, and the pockets are designed to well I can't knock a star off. Just order one size up and you'll be fine. Be aware that these pants do not have any stretch in them - a little unusual for joggers in this day and age. They fit very well, but when I sit they take me back a few decades - I immediately noticed the lack of give. Make no mistake, you can do squats in them if you need to - you will just be aware of them when you do! I did find that after wearing them for a while, they seemed a lot more comfortable, and I no longer noticed that initial lack of give. The front pockets are deep and do not make unsightly bulges; there are also smaller pockets over the large pockets that have flap closures; the smaller pockets would probably not be able to hold a phone. Lyocell is a semi-synthetic fabric made from wood cellulose, known for its softness, durability, and eco-friendly production process. It is often used as a sustainable alternative to cotton and is highly breathable. The fabric used for these pants is lightweight, relatively thin and feels like cotton - ideal for summer. I machine washed them on cold and tumble dried them, with no shrinkage. However … it appears as if the black color is now a shade or two lighter than before. Of course, since I don't have another pair to compare them with, I cannot be a 100% sure of my facts, but I had a good look at them before washing them and after the wash, immediately noticed a grey cast to the black. It is not a big deal; I just hope they do not get lighter with each successive wash. On a positive note, they did not need any ironing and are well-made!
