I ordered this to wear in a mock trial. I was playing the part of the prophet Samuel in the trial of King Saul. (Try to remember your Bible stories!) For under $20, I was able to put this on, and feel comfortable saying lines that would't have worked in "street clothes." I did not add the beard, and the director nixed the hat as too "comic." I am about 5"6', and easily took up 4 or 5 inches of lenth, using double-sided tape inside the bottom. The material is light enough to do that. Surprisingly, as light as it is, the material is completely opaque, and at a respectful distance is a fair imitation of velvet. Needed it for one night. Worth it for the fun. Read more
