This is a great costume. It looked good and the quality was excellent. I actually got quite a few comments on the robe and someone even munitioned that it must have been expensive because how well made it appeared and felt. I got this on prime for $21. I would easily pay upwards of $35-40 for it now that I had seen/worn it. Others complained about the size of the hat, and while I don't have the biggest head, it fit pretty good over the hair wig combo (similar to that in the picture) I was wearing. Really helped keep the wig in place and wasn't uncomfortable. The costume can be warm, but it felt great for me as I was naked under it except for a thin pair of gym shorts. The weather outside was around 68-75 F most of the night. My ONLY complaint is that the robe was a little short on me. I am 6'1" and it came a few inches above my ankles. Definitely not a problem. When standing you couldnt really tell, but when I sat down it raised to about mid-calf. Read more

Nice quality gown. It is a single piece, not a robe and gown. Fits well. Although the site would lead you to believe it includes wig, beard, and sword, it says clearly on the package they are not included. A bit misleading. Read more

I was hoping to use this robe to dress as Dumbledore for Halloween. Once I put it on I knew it was not going to work for me. I think it fit as expected but in person it seemed more like a night gown than a wizard's robes. Sure, the price is great. But I just didn't think it fit my vision for Dumbledore. If you aren't too particular about overall looks then it would suffice for a wizard. Just not for me I suppose. I will also say that the hat is rather flimsy and not flexible at all. If you have a larger than average head don't even bother. I might hang onto it and try making alterations to make it work but leaning towards returning it. I don't feel misled or anything because it is a good value. Just some things that I did not foresee when I initially ordered. Read more

It's a nice crush velvet material thats pretty thin, so it shouldn't be too hot. I thought it was like an open robe, but it's more like a really long dress with 2 strips of material sewn on the front to make it look like you have on a robe over. I'm very happy with this surprise. Very functional and the stars look fantastic, perfect for a wizard's costume. The hat matches perfectly too and is not too big or too small. Read more
