Very poorly made. The buttons are glues on rather than sewn, and most of them fell off in the first few hours. I had to re-glue them all with a stronger adhesive. Very weak seams as well - after only one use I had blown out several seems on the jacket and pants, even though it wasn't a tight fit. The hat was deformed and useless. The only plus side is that with the right accessories (not the one's provided), it looked great as Colonel Mustard costume, and I got a lot of compliments. My son needed a Theodore Roosevelt costume for a school event. He is 13 years old, tall but thin. There’s not a lot of options for a kid of his age/build so I decided to take my chances and try this. For a costume, it’s better than I expected. The material is thin, similar to any costume you’ve seen. The shirt is simple to get on- it velcros together instead of buttons. The pants are elastic in the waist and elastic at the bottom so they slip on and off easily. The pants are more like capris. They don’t go all the way down to your ankles. I found on Amazon some fake boot slip-ons to mimic real boots without the huge extra cost and they covered the pants nicely so you couldn’t tell that they didn’t go down to the ankles. We didn’t use the mustache- I bought different ones from Walmart. The glasses were fine. The hat fit ok. The belt was ok. The bandana was fine. Over all it’s a decent costume. It would work more for a 15 year old or older but for one night it was ok. I had to return it because it was so big but it’s not bad. I have a picture of my 13 year old. As you can see, not bad. My son is starting to fit into men’s smalls so I was hoping this would fit. Just a bit too big. Read more
