I have purchased this belt a number of times over the last few years in different sizes and as things wore out. Has always been durable in relation to other belts I've had and I appreciate the classic look without too much bling. The leather is solid but has a little give/bend in the leather if you sit down. The only thing I noticed buying this belt online vs. a department store is it initially had a strong chemical/leather smell. I chalked this up to it not sitting on a showroom floor for a bit and have just dealt with it. The smell has been dissipating over time. This belt isn't going to be noticeable from across the room (it's subtle), but I'm not the one to wear huge rodeo buckles so it works for me. Read more

I sent the first one back because it was too small. Ordered the next size up and it was also too small. I recommend ordering 2 sizes up. Will def buy again! Read more

This is a nice belt made of a clean strip of solid smooth black leather with a shiny, sturdy, functional buckle. I really couldn't have wanted more from a leather belt, and from experience with Fossil belts in the past, I know this will last for years to come. My previous Fossil belt was brown so I went for a change in color, but otherwise it appears to be of the same quality that lasted me through two seasons on a Tall Ship where I loaded it up with a sheath knife and multi-tool day in and day out (it bent/sagged in the back, but never wore down or tore---I didn't give it any oil either). So overall this belt looks just as good as my other one, and so if you're looking for a belt that will last and do its job, you honestly don't need to look any further. Read more

Nice belt, but each of these I've bought has lasted less than a year of daily wear. The big stitching at the buckle comes loose and eventually then so does the buckle. The first belt lasted 10 months, the second belt I purchased has gone 7 months before developing the same problem. Surely these should last longer than that? Read more
