This watch exceeded my expectations. It's so much more beautiful in person. The design is so unique, and watching the mechanism is fascinating. It does feel nice and heavy, and it seems very solid. I find that it keeps great time. I have been wearing it for three or four days, and I only had to set it once, which was very easy to do. I wound it 30 times first and, because I have been wearing it all day, it has not stopped when I take it off at night. If it's your every-day watch, it should have enough reserve to keep going through the night with no problem. I was intimidated by the idea of an automatic at first, but it's been very easy to use, and now I'm not interested in ever going back to a quartz watch. Not that I would need to, because this watch feels like it'll last a lifetime. Keep in mind if your wrist is smaller than 8" and you need links removed, you will have to take it to a jeweler. Two things I was worried about is that I have a small wrist, but it still looks great on me.
