I have a gold-tone Fossil watch that always gets compliments. Even though this is for men, I got it because I prefer watches with a big face. Plus the polished stainless steel looks good on my skin tone. It was easy to set and over several days has remained accurate, so I'll assume there aren't any mechanical issues. The hand movements are smooth. The watch comes presented in a gift tin box and looks impressive upon opening. The watch itself weighs approx 4.5 oz, nice and solid. It looks true to the product photos. I'll have to get the bracelet band adjusted for my skinny lady wrist and the jeweler might give me a side-eye for wearing this hefty man watch, but I don't care. I like it. I'm not a huge watch aficionado and I do appreciate their beauty as jewelry. But I noticed that the Roman numeral IV shows as IIII. It's apparently by design. You can never go wrong with a Fossil watch. They are always a quality timepiece with a unique look. My husband is a watch connoisseur-he loves them, so I try to get him an original one for special occasions like birthdays or Christmas. I loved the bold blue color of this one with both the gold and silver in the band. I was able to set the time and the day for him but not the numerical date as it did not come with instructions. I am sure it is on the internet, but I would have preferred a copy with it. It has been keeping accurate time. It has a pretty good weight to it, but not too heavy.
