I recently got this Fox knife, and it’s a seriously impressive little folder. Even though the blade is just under three inches, it feels way more capable and rugged than its size suggests. The stainless steel is top-tier Italian quality, and mine arrived razor-sharp right out of the box. It has a black stonewashed finish that looks great and provides excellent protection against wear and corrosion. The handle has a perfect texture that stays secure in your hand without feeling bulky in your pocket. I also love the etched design on the blade; it gives the knife an artistic, high-end feel that stands out from your average pocket tool. What makes this a great everyday carry is how it doubles as a solid emergency tool. It features a built-in glass breaker on the end and a reversible pocket clip so you can carry it however you prefer. Some might be surprised to find the blade is magnetic, but that’s actually normal for this type of high-carbon stainless steel—it’s what allows the metal to be hardened for a long-lasting edge. The liner lock is snappy and feels very secure when the blade is deployed. It even comes with a nice cloth bag and a protective case, which makes it feel like a premium gift right from the start. Those that are familar with regular folding knives will find this a little unusual. Plenty of videos on Youtube explaining how to use a Karambit knife. This Karambit style knife has going for it. G10 handle with a steel liner lock and is quite sturdy. The steel finger ring with the glass breaker tip is large enough to fit most fingers. There is a reversible pocket clip on this as well. The blade is made of N690Co and is very similar to 440 SS or VG-10 steel. Should hold an edge quite well. It comes pre-sharpened. The Karambit originated as an agricultural tool and morphed into a self defense/combat knife. It has an interesting history. There are many kinds of Karambit knives. I call this on a 'general purpose' knife where the more serious versions of this have a blade that is sharpenrd all the way around. Bottom line on this? Nice knife and I'm glad I got it. I'm not sure why I ordered this knife. I guess because it is so unusual I decided to check it out. I seem to collect pocket knives and I had nothing like this in my collection. This knife is supposed to have a stainless steel blade, and be non-magnetic. Well, my magnet says that this blade is highly magnetic. So, I have to assume that China might be incorrectly making a statement that is not true. The blade can still be partially stainless steel, and be magnetic, but high quality stainless IS NOT MAGNETIC! I open a lot of packages, so I suspect that this knife will spend it's life opening cardboard boxes. It really doesn't need to be stainless in this instance. What if a person wanted to skin rabbit and squirrels with this this instrument. Getting blood and guts on a blade that can rust is a problem, so 'REAL' stainless would be a benefit ... don't you think? This product is okay, but I am not impressed with companies that make false marketing claims about their products. I don't care for the 'stone-washed' paint appearance on the blade, nor do I like the stiff and clumsy blade lock lever safety switch. In addition I don't like how dull the blade comes from the factory. Two stars is all I can rate this product. Sorry fellas, not good enough in spite of the freaky design, in my opinion. Read more

This knife's blade is shorter than I was expecting, especially considering the overall length of the knife. The "tactical" design I can take or leave, but if you're a fan of tactical stuff, this might be more appealing to you. As delivered, the blade itself wasn't particularly sharp and I had to spend some time sharpening it. The knife overall feels durable, and the materials seem like they would hold up over time. The thing I like least about it is the incredibly awkward blade locking/unlocking mechanism. It's very stiff and clumsy to operate, and having to put your fingers in the path of the closing blade doesn't feel like the safest option to me. Read more

This knife performs well above its size class and has a rugged look with Italian design. The blade is high quality hardened stainless and it has a PTFE coating for abrasion and waterproof protection. The blade is just over two inches long and it feels great in my hand without feeling overly bulky. The g10 handle has a great texture that makes the grip feel perfect. The balance of the knife is spot-on. It is insanely sharp and has a front glass breaker that makes it a multifunction tool that can be used in case of emergencies. It also has a reversible pocket clip so it can be used on either side. The fit and finish are outstanding and everything feels both deliberate and perfect.
