I'm NOT a pro, just a weekend warrior. I have an old Craftsman table saw. It's in mint condition, otherwise, I would have replaced it long ago. I was using a old Master Mechanic 40 tooth combo blade on it, which always seemed to bog down. After doing alot of research, I determined that this blade was worth trying. This blade is a BEAST..! It rips thru pine as well as oak, like hot butter..! The saw doesnt' even slow down now. Excellent Blade..!!! I would Highly recommend this blade for older, underpowered table saws. Some on here complained about the cut. I found the finished cut to be nearly glue ready. For the price, if you're doing mostly rip cuts, this is unbeatable..! Read more
Expect a nice, clean, accurate cut. With its well manufactured thin kerf, it reduces the resistance on the table saw motor allowing the saw to perform at its peak. It's very much worth the asking price. Good job! Read more
I thought this would be just what I needed for cutting a lot of scrap theated lumber with, unfortunately, the more than occasional broken off nail hiding somewhere within. I didn't want to ruin an expensive blade, and so subjected this one to the ordeal. The teeth performed surprisingly well, remaining intact and in good cutting shape even after being abused this way. The blade is still in the saw, and still cutting well. I think I'll buy another when this one is finally done for. Read more
I purchased this for my table saw because it came with a 16 tooth blade. It cuts smoothly and rips very smoothly, with the results requiring only a light sanding. There is no drag at all on my properly adjusted saw. So far, I have made about 30 cuts. I have used it mainly for ripping up to 6 foot lengths of pressure treated pine, in addition to cross cuts. I will purchase another when it's time to update my sliding miter saw blade, as I am not as impressed with the Kobalt blade it came with. I use that saw for straight and miter cuts up to 4x4 and 2x8 pressure treated. I took a star off because I don't expect it to last more than a year with light duty before it dulls. I was looking for a reasonably priced FTG (Flat-Top Grind) blade, for those times I am using my table saw to cut dados or rabbets. Some blades here seem to call themselves FTG (or 4xATB + 1 FTB), but do not leave a perfectly flat bottom. This one does; pic attached. It also seems to be a generally good blade, cutting thru hardwoods with relative ease. Read more
