I really like this product and it seems to work really well so far! My only complaints are that the hook keeps falling off and we have to keep putting it back on before wearing it every few times and that the Weights are difficult to get into the slots. However, you can just put the weights in the pocket in the back without shoving them into the specific slots so that works! I'd definitely recommend this! Looks great on as well! Comfortable to wear and I like that the weight is adjustable. They said you're supposed to select a weighted vest to be about 5-10% of your weight. I like that I can start off low, but then make adjustments to the weight of the vest as I progress in my walking. The vest itself is weighted with sand in the back and in the straps. There are 4 metal bars that you can remove from a pocket in the back and one on each strap to increase it from 8lbs to 12lbs. The metal bars are nice and they don't necessarily slide in and out of the pockets really easily, but it's not that difficult to remove and put back. I am petite and this vest fit me well right out of the box. It comes with an arm strap you can put around your bicep to hold your phone/keys/whatnot, but I have no interest in using it. It also works to store the 4 extra bars I'm currently not using. Because the vest itself is full of sand, you can't throw it in the wash to clean, only wipe down. I do get sweaty while using it and so I just lay it out in the sun to let it air out and dry. I live in a really warm and humid climate so I was expecting this to be really hot. It wasn't that bad actually, no different than if you are walking with a backpack full of stuff. I decided to give this one a try. I chose to start conservatively with the 8 to 12 LB vest. These vests go up in size as you get heavier weight models. Initially I thought the 8-12 lb. model was a little small for me, (I’m male, 5’8’, 225 lbs.) but it turned out to be very comfortable in use, it keeps the weight high and it doesn't bounce around or shift. Now I am using it for my daily walks. While it seems just as easy to walk, my heart rate is about 10 % higher though I’m walking the same speed. This is a great way to get more effective exercise with the same effort. The recommended weight for someone my size would be 20-30 lbs., but I am glad I started light. After ½ hour of walking my trapezius muscles get a little tired/achy. Once I get used to it, I will add more weight. I’m very happy I got this vest. Read more

Now this weight vest is my favorite. This vest comes with a base weight of 12 pounds, but you can remove the 4 lbs of blocks and start at 8lbs. The individual 1 pound blocks give you the option to add 1 pound back at a time if needed just by simply sliding them back in the pockets. There is one pocket on each shoulder strap and two on the back. These adjustments were great for me as someone who is very new to walking with a weighted vest. I will say it’s similar to carrying a backpack full of books. This vest feels good on even when sweating, which is important because you will sweat. The Fragraim Adjustable Weighted Vest is well made. It would be a great for progressive training for running, hiking, walking or just to wear around the house while doing normal cleaning. The actual vest is filled with 8 pounds of iron sand with 'stay-stitches' strategically placed at roughly 2 inch increments to keep the sand evenly distributed. The four additional 1 pound iron bricks can be placed in their individual pockets. The two front pockets were easy to remove and replace the bricks. I had difficulty removing the bricks from the back pocket. The vest has two adjustable clips in the front to secure the vest to your body to prevent it from shifting or bouncing while you exercise. Unfortunately, I'm a little larger than the vest allows. I didn't want to add a lot more weight and get the heavier vest, but I did not realize the lower weight vest would not fit. I normally wear a large shirt, so it's not like I'm huge. If the adjustable straps on the front clips were longer, this would be great for me! The additional phone holder has two zippered pockets and a velcro strap that wraps around your arm. My S25 cell phone barely fits in the largest pocket. The smaller pocket would be good for keys and ID. Overall, it is a very nice weighted vest and I would recommend the 8-12 pound size for women who wear a medium size shirt or smaller. Read more
