I’m really impressed with this jewelry box. I had earrings scattered across several different boxes, and it was getting frustrating trying to keep everything organized. I loved the look of this tray and was hoping it would be sturdy—and it absolutely is. It’s made from high-quality materials and has a nice weight to it, so it’s definitely not cardboard. I’m not completely sure if the lid is glass, but it’s clearly not cheap plastic. It holds 48 pieces, which has made organizing and finding my earrings so much easier. I liked it so much that I ended up buying another one for my crystal collection! The latches are strong too—I know this because it accidentally fell once and stayed completely closed. Sure, my jewelry got a little shuffled around inside, but at least nothing was lost. The only small downside is that there’s a slight gap at the bottom of each square. Very thin or small pieces (such as posts of dangling earnings) can slide into neighboring sections, especially if you move the box around. I usually keep it in one spot, so it’s not a big issue, but it’s something to be aware of. I'm just very careful removing my earrings. This case was bought for my daughter that loves earrings and it has been almost perfect. It holds a ton of earrings. The only downside is the grid is not as tall as the case, so if it tumbles, the earrings do not stay in place. That's a minor issue, tho, so still a 5 star product in my eyes. Read more
