I’ve had other machines like this and by far, this is the loudest one I’ve used. Even at the lower settings, it is louder than my other machine that I purchased here. A lot of the noise is the linkage clunking around and metal on metal grinding. The materials, the machine are made out of simply do not allow it to be quiet. It’s also not advertised, but the metal bars the machine is held up by, our hollow and not solid like other machines. So, there really isn’t enough weight to keep this machine still, and therefore it just walks all over the place while it’s in use. You have to put weights on the bottom legs to hold it still. Lastly, the machine will stop, thrusting with even the slightest bit of resistance. This claims to have a 120 W motor, but the torque is almost nonexistent. Love it man, I've already got my money's worth out of it to. Pro's -Supper quite, I mean like almost creepy quite. -Powerful, uwu -Fast, it can run dangerously fast, or teasing slow, keep your fingers and toes clear of the crank arm. -Versatile, lots of adjustment, and having both a front and back stroke is nice Con's - At the slow speeds it lacks a little power to push in to you, so if your using large toys the slow speed might not be able to stroke it in and out, turning up the speed a little will force it in. High speeds will punch throw brick. - A small complaint is with mine, it started to wear down the locking pin on the crank arm, I had to tighten it and used a piece of leather to cushion it so it wouldn't wear down more. If after a lot of use it starts to make a clicking or clanking sound it's likely the same issue, if you catch it early you won't damage the pin. no more issue after adding the leather cushion. - Also after running it for more then a couple hours with the abuse I throw at it, the electric motor on the side will heat up a bit, it's never worried me, and I use it as a way to know I might be over doing it, and to take a break. I've run this machine for many hours now and I love it, after getting over how much it cost me I don't regret buy one bit, and feel some of the lesser but cheaper machines wouldn't of preformed as well or been broken by now. if you know your going to use it I Recommend.
