The media could not be loaded. I got the Grey-gold marbled version. The good: It looks fantastic and professional. I love everything about it. It is just the right size to be a nice looking desk piece without taking up too much desk space. The notches are wide enough to hold not just cards but paperclips, binder clips, and other small desk supplies. It has a soft bottom, felt maybe, so it won't scratch your desk. It has a nice weight to it so it's not going to slide around if your desk is at all wobbly or anything like that. The bad: it's shipped with a bit of dust on it but I believe that's just to keep it looking good while it ships. Very minor issue though, it can easily be cleaned off. It's very smooth to the touch and there's a thin felt pad on the bottom that protects the surface it is on from any scratches. The three tiers are the perfect size for standard 2"x3" business cards. I've used other types of holders in the past and they all have the habit of either getting knocked over or being pushed out of place. This card holder is solid enough that it stays put and is very easy to remove cards from. I was happy that it's quite smooth on all surfaces and there are no sharp or unfinished edges. I've had a unique problem: I use a variety of sticky notes every day, and they keep just ending up all over my desk. I've looked for organizers that don't just put them in a stack AND has a spot for flags/tabs, but my dream organizer doesn't exist. :( However, I saw this card organizer and saw the potential, and it works! This organizer is solid concrete so it is sturdy and looks clean. As you can tell from how I'm using it, the functionality and versatility are great. The slots are 1.5×10cm wide and 2cm deep, so they can fit random other things like flash drives, tape, whatever. Plus, the bottom is lined, so you don't have to worry about it scratching your desk. I was in the market for a business card holder for my desk at work, and noticed this one due to the unique material. I honestly don't know how they made this, if they poured it into a mold and cured it or something else, but it looks really nice. The concrete-like material has some interesting texture to it, it is clearly sanded very well, and has a base that will keep it from scratching any surface. I think I will actually use post-it notes in the farthest back slot as they fit just fine. One note about the depth of these slots that I could not tell from the posting. All three slots are the same depth. That is perfectly fine and exactly what they advertise if you think about it. I was somehow hoping the back slot was deeper so you could actually put post-it notes in and not have them bend over a bit, but that is sort of changing the functionality of this, and I will not ding them any stars for that. This is the perfect size on my desk. It is heavy so is not easily disturbed when I pull cards from it or bump it with paperwork. I can even fit my phone in the slot while working, so one other item is off my desk! It has a great polished concrete satin finish. It's useful and great looking and I'd consider it if i need a gift for a co-worker or a friend with a new job.
