Love it
Love it! very sturdy, thick glass (not like other ones i've bought that have broken right away). The plastic ring at the bottom is a really good addition as it prevents it from shattering when you place it down. Love that no plastic parts ever touch the coffee. Read more
The perfect size!
I have been looking for a one cup French Press for a long time, and the problem I was running into is that I needed it to be glass (no plastic) and the glass had to be substantial, not delicate. This press meets my needs perfectly, and is easy to clean, for a French press. Read more
Gradients wear away with use/washing
The gradients showing volume wear off and cannot be seen anymore. Should be made better in that area. In photos you see the worn off measuring lines. Otherwise it works well Read more
No internal plastic.
Has stainless steel plunger and extra filter. Graduation marks are in oz and ml. Has a neat glass handle and removable outer rubber base. Can make about 10oz of coffee or tea. Read more
More pros than cons
I've been using the 34 oz Nukeekee French Press for 11 days. I will list the pros and cons. Pros: 1. Stylish addition to my counter 2. Makes delicious coffee and nice, frothy hot cocoa 3. I'm still using the fine-ground made for my drip coffee maker and I'm not experiencing coffee grounds seeping through the filter. 4. Two extra coffee filters included are a nice bonus 5. Carafe seems sturdy, not easily breakable 6. Easy to clean the interior components Con: 1. Clear water and brown water from the coffee grounds, when hand washing, gets trapped behind the exterior silver bars on the bottom and sides. There is no way to clean it. If it looks this way after only eleven days of use, my concern is: what will it look like long term and will mold develop in those exterior areas from the water not being able to escape. Read more
Ease of cleaning and healthier way to make coffee
I have a 6 cup version that I dont use bc I am the only one who drinks coffee this way. So I purchased the single cup. Love it. My opinion, it is a cleaner way to enjoy a cup of coffee. Not a fan of coffee maker machines that need to be cleaned. The glass is sturdy and I like that the strainer is also stainless steel. No plastic for hot water to pass through.
