It’s a good skirt, get me through the school day pretty good. It tends to rest at my midsection instead of my waist and when I sit down it doesn’t cover any of my legs, sometimes not even my bottom. This skirt absolutely met and then exceeded my expectations. I was concerned about the length because there was nothing to compare it to and the seller description was SO vague but thanks to customer reviews and photos I took a chance and it was perfect! My daughter is 5 1/2, about 45 lbs and about 48 in tall. I ordered a size 6. The length is well below her knees, room to grow this year and meets uniform rules. The waist has double adjustable tabs and we pulled those in by two button holes in each side just to keep her shirt properly tucked in. The material is high quality, wash and wear. You can hang to dry or use a dryer, either way pleats look fabulous! Just don't leave crumpled in a laundry basket or it will need a light iron. French Toast is a quality brand, this is a great product for a great price, it came packaged well and within two days of ordering. Buy it, and then buy it again and again. This was perfect for national honors society ceremony and the length was good for school I think it runs a little bigger than others but with the adjustment wasit made it fit perfect... My daughter is 5'0 and 93 lbs I think I ordered a 12(size 10 would have worked but my daughter like comfort and she has lots of rtg).. I would recommend this skirt as I love the length and fit. Don't listen to people that say this skirt looks cheap it's does not and it easily to iron and fits great. Read more

Good quality, past the knee, BUT no built-in shorts as promised in the description. Otherwise, would give 5 stars. Daughter is 8 years old, and so hard to find school uniform skirts that are not mini skirts (as a father, this is ridiculous). Also my daughter is skinny at 44 lbs and 4'4". 1st, these are great quality, and the length is perfect for my girls' school. 2nd and most importantly, DO NOT listen to those reviews saying you need to size down for this skirt! My middle child is age 11 and wears an XS in juniors' sizes (she is tall and thin). My twins are age 9 and wear an XL/14 in girls' sizes (also tall and thin). I ordered sizes 8 and 10. The size 10 was too small for my twins- would've needed an extra 6 inches to zip the skirt. The elastic in the waist is great- I'm returning and ordering size 20 for all my girls and will use the elastic to adjust if needed. Read more

Love these. After reading tons of reviews I decided to go with size 18 for my 13yo. She’s 5’8 and the skirts hit her on top of the knees. Perfect amount of modesty, and makes her look sharp for school. She’s a tall girl with a bit of girth to her, these are her measurements: Waist- 34 Hips: 43-44. She has a bit of a bum and full thighs and the skirts are comfortable with a tiny bit of slack leftover in the waist. I got the khaki and navy and they fit the exact same. Haven’t washed it yet but if the pleats loosen up it should be easy to re-set them with a hot iron, because they are stitched into the seam at the waist. Only thing missing are pockets. We have mixed reviews on this skirt. The skirt itself is good. It's comfortable, the adjustable waist is perfect for our slim girl, but the pleats went out after one wash. I'll be ironing this every time she eats it. In the past they lasted at hat 6 months. Read more
