I bought these pants for my 14 year old daughter (who is on the shorter size, but average waist size for her age) because she needed some black pants to wear for her orchestra performances. I thought they would probably be too long, but that we could hem them. Unfortunately, they are WAY too big in the waist. It's a shame, because they seemed to be decent quality, and would have been comfortable for her to wear. We will be returning them. Read more

Daughter needed solid black dress pants for school band. Amazon came in CLUTCH since I was working and unable to get to the store THE DAY BEFORE her concert. They fit a little big on her (but she's at that weird growth spot where 1 size is too short, and the next is like this), but the stretch in the waist makes them comfortable and keeps them on. The pants are really good and you can tell they are durable, the only thing that I didn’t like is that they don't have a zipper or button to open/close, they fit her good but did struggle to put them up because it doesn’t open. I wouldn’t want to size up because then it would be big and long on her. Read more
