Like many of the reviewers, I did not buy these to sleep on. I purchased them to make covers for my dog beds, so that I can change the "top sheet" out often and leave the base cover on for a long period of time. If you need a large amount of fabric for something like that, or curtains, a spread for picnics, etc. this is a very, very good value. It is much cheaper than buying fabric by the yard. The way they are sewn together is sturdy, but they are more utilitarian and not finely finished. Of course you wouldn't expect that for something in this price range. Personally, I would never use these as sheets on a bed because they are made of polyester and they feel like it. They are soft, but they have that polyester feel, that I find unpleasant. I much prefer natural fibers like cotton, linen, or silk for sheets. I like that you could buy several of the top sheets, rather than having to purchase sets that included a bottom sheet, which are much more difficult to cut if you are using them for a project, and you loose some of your square footage due to the corners. I would definitely purchase these again if I needed large amounts of fabric for something that didn't require a finer fabric. Read more
