These locking carabiners are impressively sturdy yet surprisingly lightweight at just ~1 oz each. The quick auto-locking mechanism makes securing gear effortless, and the rust-resistant aluminum should stand up to plenty of use. They are rated to 12Kn (2698lbs) which gives me plenty of peace of mind that they're securing all the swings in our backyard. I never really write a review but feel I should since I keep coming back to this item. Love the feel and knowing my items I attach are secure. Mostly use on my backpacks but also other times working in the yard and attaching items to my belt. Also dig the look of the design. These carabiner clips save a lot of time in your day-to-day use. Instead of having to un-screw an old-style carabiner with 6 or 7 twists, this carabiner opens or shuts and locks with ONE simple twist. If you use carabiners for your keys, it's a big time saver. Same with using one on your dog's leash so you can tether your pooch to a fence while you pop into the post office or other No Dogs Allowed destination. Very nice locking mechanism. These are strong and will most likely outlast me. I would not recommend you hang from this if rock climbing as was shown in an advertisement I saw but they’re wood quality! Read more
