Good design
I bought it to replace a microwave that I've had since 2002. I first tried a GE brand in black but couldn't believe how cheap it felt and who thought it was a good idea to make the control panel gray lettering on black? So I replaced it with this Frigidaire brand and I'm so happy with the easy to read panel, it feels solid, it fits in beautifully in my kitchen. I might have bought a more expensive model, but was told by the dealers that none of them are guaranteed beyond eight years. So why bother? Read more

However well packaged the door came loose from the hinge pins. I am very mechanical and was able to reconnect. Mounted easily. Have not used it as it in in a speck house. Read more

Size fits tight space.
The Fridgedaire over the range microwave fit into a space 16 inches in height. This is the only full size microwave I found in white that is less than 16 inches. It was delivered on schedule and works as described. Read more
Maybe a lemon
The microwave oven was fairly decent except the "add time" button requires you to hit another button to start-- which was irritating. The real issue was the small explosion and puff of white/grey smoke before it bit the dust as we were trying to heat water in an all glass measuring cup that was disconcerting. Went through the whole return process that the seller and manufacturer make you do that I had to include Amazon in to get any resolution AKA the total pita created by seller and manufacturer in the hopes you'll just give up and move on. From first report and several commitments from different representatives we're still waiting on a microwave 6 weeks later. Many "we'll definitely get back to you on XYZ" only to not and require me to call again to keep the process moving forward. Hopefully, we can get it resolved before the warranty expires and they just deny the request. Read more
