I installed this on my 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. I chose the version with the rear camera, and everything is working perfectly. The RAV4 has relatively low headroom, so most dashcams mounted on the windshield are definitely in the way. There isn’t much extra space. However, this one fits perfectly and doesn’t obstruct my view at all. I really appreciate the design—whoever came up with this idea did an excellent job. It’s an amazing product overall. The rear camera package also includes the wiring harness, which is a great bonus. The only issue I encountered was with the fuses included in the harness. It comes with standard mini fuses built in, but the RAV4 uses low-profile mini blade fuses. I’m not sure if they offer a version compatible with those. In my case, I ended up cutting the fuse section from my previous harness and using that instead. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. Read more

I've been researching the factory dash cams from the manufacturer and saw how expensive it was, so I folded the idea of getting one for my 2025 RAV4 until I came across this one. The dash cam is built into the rearview mirror housing assembly which this replaces and once the cables are all connected, my rearview mirror housing now has 2 cameras pointing front. I took my time installing the dashcam but the overall installation was much easier than I anticipated. The video quality is as good as other 4K camera so I was very thrilled to see how clear it came out. Overall, the dashcam is a great option to install in the truck to have a peace of mind, recording whenever I am driving, and have this send of peace of mind. Read more

The installation instructions are poor. The technical support is non-existent. The app is functional. With the front facing camera integrated into the cover, it is pretty innocuous. Most passengers won’t notice it is there. It took me about an hour to get the front facing camera installed. Mainly because I had never done it before and the instructions left simple things unsaid like you need to connect the camera power cable to the power cable coming out of the rain sensor bundle. Also, you don’t need the power cable going to the fuse box if you use the sensor cable from the rain sensor. Installing the app was pretty straight forward. However, I had to disable the car local network for the app to connect to the camera network. Once that was working I found out the provided memory card didn’t work. The app kept giving me the message “The memory card is abnormal, please format or replace the card.” I tried several times to format the card. Even though the app reported the format was successful the error message remained. I tried contacting technical support but got no response. Ended up buying a new card from Amazon. I got it the next day and it worked. I haven’t hooked up the rear facing camera yet. Running the cable to the back window of my RAV4 seems like it’s going to be a pain. Now that it’s working the video quality of the front facing camera is excellent. Getting the videos and downloading them is easy once you get the app connected to the camera network. One thing, the app has a setting for mph or kph. I don’t see the speed displayed anywhere. Read more

This front 4K and rear 1080P dash cam system for Toyota RAV4 (2022–2025) offers a clean OEM-style design with a plug-and-play install that fits seamlessly into trims like LE, XLE, Limited, and XSE. The front camera captures crisp daytime footage with clear plate visibility, while the rear cam adds reliable rear coverage without the bulk of an exposed setup. Wifi and app support allow for quick video access and firmware updates from your phone, and the included 128GB card offers generous storage out of the box. Its discreet design with vent-hole compatibility keeps the cabin uncluttered—perfect for drivers who want modern dash cam functionality without compromising aesthetics. That said, the rear camera resolution is limited to 1080P, which is serviceable but noticeably softer than the 4K front, especially in low light. The app connection via wifi can occasionally be finicky, with slow transfers or pairing hiccups depending on your device. While installation is easy for most trims, some users may find routing the rear cam cable takes a bit of patience. Additionally, features like parking mode or advanced driver assist are not included, so it’s focused more on clean recording than extra tech. Still, for RAV4 owners prioritizing stealthy looks, quality front video, and hassle-free setup, this system delivers excellent value. Read more

Installed this dash cam on my 2023 RAV4, and it fits perfectly—looks just like it came from the factory. Setup was truly plug-and-play, with no messy wires. The video quality is excellent (4K front + 1080P rear), and I love being able to download clips directly to my phone with the app. Parking mode gives me peace of mind when I leave the car, and the included 128GB card was a nice bonus. Overall, super happy with this item! Read more

I just installed this dash cam in my 2023 RAV4 XLE and it couldn’t be smoother. The plug-and-play harness lined up perfectly with the factory vent hole, so I had front and rear cameras hidden behind the mirror in under 15 minutes—no wiring nightmare. During a recent road trip, the 4K front footage captured every detail of the mountain curves, and the rear 1080p clips nailed a license plate of someone cutting me off. The smartphone app over Wi-Fi makes previewing or downloading clips instant, and the 128 GB card stores days of video before looping. Feels like an OEM upgrade and gives me confidence on every drive. Highly recommend! Read more
