As others have commented, the fit is great - "spot on" - and they are incredibly comfortable. I initially purchased them because I wanted to try the horizontal fly (opening), and I am happy to report that as long as these are available, I will not be getting anything else. Functionality is soooo much better! Another observation - the waistband is lower than others I've tried and more comfortable as a result (some ride way too high).
