The media could not be loaded. Size UP!! I have had several pairs of Frye boots- this is my third pair in the Veronica line. As you know, they are pricey, so you really want to get the sizing right. These are high quality boots designed to last and look good for years. Sometimes I wear a 7.5 and sometimes an 8. In euro sizing I can fit a 38 but typically opt for 39 (but sometimes that’s a bit on the large side). I have narrow feet with a high arch. Here are my experiences with the Veronica line and here’s how they fit: Veronica tall slouch 7.5. SO difficult to get them on. The ankle was SO SO tight it was difficult to get my foot around the ankle corner and in the boot. And I have narrow feet and ankles!!! I wore them half a dozen times and then sadly sold them. Veronica combat 9. I was not making the same mistake!!! They are NOT too big but I do tend to wear them with thicker wool hiking style socks, which is fine with this more casual style. And now these boots. 8.5. Great fit and I wear them with thinner dress style socks. They would not fit with thicker socks. So my overall recommendation is- if you’re between sizes go up a FULL size. If you’re not between sizes go up 1/2 size. Avoid these if you have wide feet or larger ankles. Read more

6.5 boot was tight. I went to shoe repair and they stretched then was perfect. Back of boot shoe guy says that it is plastic and cannot get stretched. So little surprise it is plastic but all in all the boot is good. I am a size 6 but up it to 6.5 & it just needed a little help. I think a 7 would have been too large. Great quality Read more

Super adorable boots! I am a size 8 or 8 1/2 typically. I read the reviews and sized up to a 9 as I have a wider foot. I had to exchange them for a 8 1/2 as the heal slipped way too much. They now fit great! Really beautiful boots! Read more

Can’t tell you how disappointed I was in these boots especially the left one was at least 2 size too small. Unfortunately I bought them for an event 2 weeks later that I received them. Major mistake on my part to have tried both on at the time I received them and kept the paperwork. So be careful when you look at these. Read more

Cute boots and really well constructed, but the right one is cut way narrower than the left boot and almost looks like a different shape/style of boot when viewed from the top. Really funny thing is that my right foot is a tad smaller than my left and yet that is the tight one. Considering the other reviews and the good price, I'm working with some shoe stretcher. Oh well. I had read many reviews on these to make sure these were authentic. They do say made in Mexico. But found out Frye started making their boots outside of the USA many years ago. Many of their models are made in China. Some are made in Mexico. Apparently the region in Mexico where these are produced is well known for boot making. I found the quality of these matches the boots I have bought directly from Frye’s website. The leather is soft. They fit a little snug like most Frye boots but will stretch with wear. I would size up a half a size if you are new to Frye. These boots will last a lifetime. I’ve had my other pair for 8 years and they still look new and fit comfortably. I did buy these on Prime Day and they were $50 cheaper. That’s the best deal I’ve found. I had been watching this boot for a while waiting on a sale on Amazon and Frye’s website. Ignore my socks, I'm trying to break in these new Fryes . I am in love with these boots!!! Omg, they're beautiful and comfortable. I have VERY wide feet, and these fit. They're a little snug at the moment, but being leather, they'll soften and stretch. They do slip a bit on the heels, but with socks, they don't. I wear an 8.5, and that's what I ordered, in black toga. Found these babies on sale for $120, so I'm extra happy. This is my 4th pr of Frye boots, and they'll last longer than I will. 🖤 ***UPDATE*** I'm really upset because I discovered a hole on seam on the shaft of the left boot. 😞 Returning them. Read more

Disappointed that I had to return these. A great price but maybe due to they had already been returned. They appeared brand new and unused, so I was fine with that but they were extremely uncomfortable. Could be the style. No way to adjust with zipper or buckle. But I have a narrow foot. The toe box was very tight with thin socks and the heel slipped up and down when taking steps. I ordered a half size up as usual for my boots. So either way a larger size wouldn't have helped but worse since the heel area slipping. Leather of Ankle area to the top was soft and subtle but all other areas very hard and stiff.
