I love everything about these! I own 2 other pairs of Frye boots, but these are the first I've ordered in along time. Still the best quality of any boot I have ever owned! Overall: These are amazing! I purchased the Rosewood color and it is the most beautiful blend of burgundy/pink/salmon I’ve seen; truly unique. The piping also gives a little bit of subtitle differentiation from the classic bootie-styles you see everywhere, but not so much as to date them. These are classics, for sure! Sizing: I’ve always worn tall boots by Frye since I just prefer that look, so these are my first pair of “booties”. My natural shoe size is a 7.5 wide, and I’ve always had to go with either an 8 or 8.5 in Frye’s tall boots. For these booties, I fit nicely into a 7.5 with room for a heavier no-show sock—I’ll just need to stretch out the toe box a bit (hairdryer trick!) since my feet are a bit wide. honestly, if they were a bit wider I could probably pull off a 7 with a light sock. Me being nerdy: Due to Amazon’s wonderful return policy, you always run the risk of receiving previously returned items which has been my experience with 95% of Amazon shoe purchases. These are very well made. And comfortable. And they are particularly great if you have wide feet. But what's nice, is the toe is perfectly tapered. Not extreme pointy but not a round goofy looking kids toe shoe.... which I hate that. These are perfect. Heel height is great too. Sorta a "bad/tough girl" with a feminine heel. Perfect with skinny or straight leg jeans. Pricey, but worth it. You'll have them forever. So treat yourself. Order your exact size too. 90% of my Frye boots I've had to order a 1/2 size larger, but oddly enough this isn't the case with this boot. They are true to size. Read more

The boots themselves are super cute, fit like a glove, and are just what I was looking for. However, they are also CLEARLY worn. Deeply creased leather around the ankles, scuffs and discoloring on the leather portion of the heel, a portion of the heel itself that is literally peeling off. Upon just mere inspection, the quality of the materials used and the workmanship are superb. But I can't tell if the stacked heels are truly stacked, solid leather slabs or if they are just of a hollow core covered and made to appear stacked and solid as is done with less expensive leather booties. I have thin feet and ankles but I needed to stretch out the toe area and the top circumference area on both pairs. After walking in them for about 4 hours, the joint of my toes were sore from rubbing, even while wearing socks. I am unable to wear ankle no-show socks because the top circumference area rubs against and irritates my skin when I walk. I will need to cut out a strip of craft foam sheet and glue it along the inside top circumference of the bootie to keep its unsmooth edge from rubbing and scratching my skin. These are pretty booties, but they require extra time and work to be able to wear them comfortably☹. I was NOT able to wear them straight out of the box without sustaining corns on the top of my smaller toes and painful scratches on my skin. Only AFTER I forcibly stretched them out where more room was needed and pad the inner top edge with a strip of craft foam sheet were they fine and comfortable to wear. Read more

They are perfect and comfortable out of the box which doesn't happen often with fryes. I am probably a 10.25 or 10.5 as 10 is often just a tad small but 11 way too big so I'd say these run a smidge big. The color is a little less yellow than pictured which is exactly what I had hoped for. Very happy! Read more
