I am a 69 years old internist. One of my patients was diagnosed with multiple pancreatic cysts about 4 years ago, which may grow and turn into cancer. She has been taking Fucoidan with AHCC for about 3 years. MRI scan showed no change in sizes of the cysts. It has been scientifically proven that Fucoidan induces apoptosis (death of normal or abnormal cells). I personally believe that an immune-boosting effect and induction of apoptosis by Fucoidan may have been playing a role.
