As far as I can see, it is a new, fully functioning Fujinon x-mount zoom 18-55mm with no issues that I can find. I put it right on my x-Pro 2 and AF and settings all work fine. However, my lens didn't come in a Fuji Film Box, and no dust cloth. Mine came in a white, unmarked box, bubble wrapped, with cap and lens hood. Which is fine with me, but if you're a purist and want the entire kit, Fuji box and all, you might have to lower your expectations just a slight bit. The price is what I like, so the other stuff isn't that vital. I gave it 5-stars because I think this is a great deal. I'll write back in a few months after I take it through it's paces! The photo showed a Fuji box for the lens, wipe cloth, owner's manual and warranty. All of this did not come with the lens. It came safely in a white box with lens, lens cap, rear cap, lens hood. No owner's manual either, but that is easily obtainable on the Fuji website if you need it. No warranty as it is an "international" version as described. Given this, the lens is still a good value at this price. Smooth, top-quality lens as it is an XF series lens and metal. I put a 58mm UV filter on the lens, wrongly attached the Fuji lens hood, and noticed vignetting at the widest apertures. It is important to attach the lens hood properly or this vignetting will occur. Make sure the wide blades are at the top and bottom of the lens, not side to side. Attached properly, the little "o" on the lens hood will be facing upwards. I'm using this with my Fuji X-T30. I would have liked the aperture ring to have markings on it however. It has click stops but you can only see where you are in the viewfinder when using it. I will keep this lens as it is small, light, versatile, and a great value for the money. This is well-built lens. Fujifilm lenses are generally quite good due to the superior optical glass and solid design of the lenses. This one is a really good value and the sharpness of the lens is quite good. I am very happy with it. Of course, the fact that it can zoom in to the SLR equivalent of 350mm means that you can capture far-out subjects quite well. Very good value for the money! Read more

Very good reach with this telephoto lens, but it is a very slow lens aperture wise. The quality of the image is very good as it is still a Fuji lens, the stabilization when extended at 230mm is also very decent. For people on a budget looking for a telephoto for their Fuji camera, this is a decent option. Read more
Many, many years of cultivating a serious and delightful approach to photography, having gone through many camera systems, including Leica's, Hassablad's, Nikon's, Cannon's etc. I love the Fugifilm X-T1 camera and all of the lenses I've purchased for it in the last 18 months (six to be exact) and love this one as well as all of the others. I shoot with prime lenses almost all the time (16, 23, 35, 56). This is the only fujifilm zoom lens I own. I got it for 3 reasons: It covers almost all those focal lengths so I can travel light with just this lens; it has built in image stabilization so is much better for video; it's very good value for money. The image stabilization works well. I can shoot handheld at 1/3 of a second easily (example attached at 1/3, 44mm, f4.0, iso 12,800). I will stick with the primes for my pro work but I love being able to leave those behind and cover a broad focal range with a single lens. Read more
