I ordered these to wear under dresses and skirts in the summertime. Since I'm roughly the shape of a Weeble (short and round), I was a little skeptical about the fit & feel of these. These shorts are shockingly amazing! They are not compression & I don't need to squeeze myself into them. They are comfortably loose around the legs, while still being form fitting. The fabric is so soft and comfortable, and it breaths well without being sheer. They have been laundered multiple times (either on delicate or "sportswear" setting) and dried on low or line dried, and they still look new. The side pockets are also a plus. I just got these and couldn't be more pleased. Exactly what I was looking for, these bike shorts were made for plus sized women. The waistband is super-wide so it does not roll at all. The material is soft and giving with a slight compression for comfort. I have a large area of skin/fat just under my belly button and these shorts put enough light pressure that the area feels supported. I'm 5'2 and love the length just above my knees. The leg area does not ride up, the waist does not roll down. They are not thick, polyester, compression shorts. They are thin but, not see through. I deliberately put on white underwear to see if the white would show through and it did not. They can be worn under dresses to prevent chubb rub and not be seen. There are 2 large pockets, one on each leg, that are deep enough to hold my 6.5 inch phone completely. I have not worn these yet, just tried them on, but they are already better than many I've seen. They are moisture wicking and will be comfortable in the heat not being too thick. If I have issues washing them, I will update my review. Read more
I am absolutely thrilled with these plus-size biker shorts! As someone who wears a 3X, finding workout shorts that are both flattering and functional can be a challenge—but these exceeded all my expectations. I mostly use shorts like these to go under my dressed to prevent "chub rub". But I actually wore these out of the house this weekend as shorts with a long shirt to hide my mid section. The black color was not see through so I felt good about the coverage. The high waist and tummy control design offer amazing support without feeling too tight or restrictive. They stay in place during while walking with no issues rolling down or riding up! The fabric is soft, stretchy, and breathable, making them super comfortable for all-day wear. I liked them so much I am planning my Disney day outfit around these shorts. One of my favorite features is the deep side pocket—perfect for holding my phone. If I had any complaint it is they were a tiny bit long for my taste but I am 4"11 so that is typical for my short stature. I am by no means a small girl, finding cloths that fit my frame is difficult at best and damn near impossible at worst. When I found these shorts in my quest to have more things to wear in the heat of summer, I had hoped they would simply fit me and that was the most I could hope for. At 5'11" and around 400lbs I had very little hope that they would fit but was happily proven wrong. I ordered the 4x and they fit like a glove, none of the rolling at the waist that many form fitting cloths have, no leg hike any time I sit for a while, simple pull them on and they comfortably fit and move with my body. In addition to being quite comfortable, the material is a dream, buttery sodt against my skin and extremely breathable. The added bonus that any woman will go nuts over is POCKETS not only do these shorts have one, but they have two fully functioning pockets. And not just the super small pockets that often come in women's clothing, but I can comfortably put my whole hand inside the pockets as I go about my day. This is no small thing as my hands are far and away on the larger side as I have to buy men's extra large gloves (for context my ring finger is a size 13 to give a bit of scale.) So to be able to comfortably fit my hands in the pockets of a pair of shorts that fit me well and feel like a dream to wear in the summer heat, I am quite impressed. Giving 3 stars because they are see through so I had to wear a long shirt. Very soft material and a little smaller than a typical xl. I wanted to wear these for working out or yoga but they will not sustain- just not durable enough. Good for comfort wear. Read more

These light weight very soft shorts are perfect for our weather here in Florida. I purchased the Black and Navy Blue combo. They held their color well through washing and air drying. They fit perfectly to my slightly curvy plus size body. They are a bit longer on the leg but I just pull them up. I am 5'4, so I think they would fit well on a tall person too. Excellent value.
