It is not entirely obvious from the photo, but this robe is TIGHT. That is, the circumference at the base is very narrow, preventing you from moving your legs apart and making it difficult to walk at a normal pace. I ended up cutting slits down both of the sides so that I wouldn't fall over. Also, the material is very cheap and looks artificial. Thin Material, But It Works

I once dressed as a friar for Halloween and wore this costume. The costume pack includes the robe, collar with hood, a belt, and a necklace. Everything about this costume is cheap. The material of the robe and hood are very thin; it's thick enough that it's not see-through, but if you don't have other clothes on underneath you will freeze. The belt is just a piece of white nylon rope and the cross necklace is a thin piece of material that is gold on one side and white on the other attached to a thin gold necklace. You can find better monk and friar costumes, but most of them cost more money. If you're looking for something that's inexpensive and aren't planning on going commando underneath, then this MONKS ROBE works fine. Read more
