For $25, I doubt anyone will expect a really fine piece of furniture, but for what it is, it’s fine. All parts are clearly labeled and the instructions are in English and easy to follow. I did wish for a helper when I was trying to hold up the bottom shelf while screwing it in, but aside from that, pretty simple assembly. It looks nice and is sturdy and the right size for me. But I am taking off a star bc of the awful awful awful packing material. It’s like styrofoam from hell. It clings to EVERYTHING! By which I mean the floor, the walls, all the furniture, me, my cat, the broom and the vacuum. I am not exaggerating when I say it took SIX DAYS to get it completely out of my house. Listen, we all know you get what you pay for. Is this a fancy piece of furniture you are going to pass down to your kids? Nope (unless you don't like your kids very much). Is it perfectly suitable for putting your big dog's food and water bowls on to elevate them so he doesn't have to bend over and choke? Yup! We have a big doggo that needs a slow feeder to keep him from eating 3 cups of food in 90 seconds, but we also wanted to elevate his food. We couldn't find an elevated feeder that works with his slow feeder bowl so I set out to find the cheapest short-ish table I could. This is perfect. I suppose you could also use it for its intended purpose, a coffee table for a small living space. :) As for the construction, it is just as sturdy as you would expect it to be. Don't exceed the specified weight limits and I'm sure you'll be fine. The biggest plus I have for it, is that I have never paid this little for a piece of furniture and had EVERY...SINGLE...PIECE match up perfectly to put it together. The holes were in the exact right places and all the pieces were included (you need your own hammer or mallet and a screwdriver). The little bags the pieces came in were even numbered so you knew exactly what to grab while reading the instructions. It took me about 10 minutes to put together by myself with no extra hands.
