The media could not be loaded. This TV does what it was designed to do. Pictures and videos are in the afternoon on a sunny day. It is a little bit bulkier and heavier than some of the more high end outdoor TVs. However, this TV is a smart TV and it is 1000x easier to manage getting high speed internet to the TV than trying to run cable from a main zone. VERY IMPORTANT: The VESA mounting is NOT centered. My original plan was to mount this inside a storm shell outside TV case. With the holes not centered and a handle and door fouling any alternate method of affixing to TV mount, this was not possible. The TV screen does have a really nice sealed screen cover. Slight negative to this is that this will reflect light if it is behind you. The picture is pretty darn good all things considered. The black levels/contrast is no where near what most people will have for their main or living room TV’s. If you are going to need a sound bar, be warned it only has a digital coax, RCA or an Aux Jack outs. Blue tooth is a wireless alternative. I struggled with the blue tooth connection. I bought this to replace a Vizio TV that I had on my semi covered porch which lasted about a year before dying. I had looked at outdoor TVs before buying the Vizio but figured I could buy a lot of cheap TVs before coming close to the price of one of the outdoor ones. After the quick death and an increase in TV price in past few years the outdoor TV was back on my radar. The difference is really night and day, we have a light colored pool deck and the glare against the Vizio made it pretty much unusable when it was sunny. With the Aurora I can see clearly even in bright sun. It's really impressive how bright the picture is, even when watching movies with darker scenes. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the sound, this seems common on weatherproof TVs because of all the extra casing around them. I didn't really have an problem with the sound, it's not theatre quality or anything but I can watch a football game from 20+ feet away in the pool without an issue. This thing is seriously heavy, make sure to check the weight rating on your mount and be certain it is mounted to the studs. So far I'm very happy with the purchase, we'll see how it holds up to Florida weather in the long run but it looks solidly built. Read more

Bought this TV to use on a covered screen porch. Brightness is excellent for viewing both in daytime and at night. Picture quality itself is ok out of the box, but with some tweaking (and calibration using an AppleTV, which I’m using for streaming), it now looks great. Sound quality on the speakers is poor, so I bought a cheap amp and hooked it to the TV using the headphone jack (which allow me to control the volume) and am using outdoor speakers, which is much better. Been putting this setup through its paces for about a month and it’s doing great. Read more

Great product! I bought a sound bar but this has great audio quality with speakers and different options for sound and picture quality. Great for hosting outdoor party’s abd sports events. THIS IS A SMART TV so it comes with the streaming apps and even live tv and free movies. Worth the price! Read more

Why do I have an update after purchasing that gives all my rights and freedoms away to watch this tv? Lg dictate and edit and change and sell everything that happens when this tv is on… I want answers on why I can’t disagree and not have everything documented and sold to third parties!!! This is a really good cheaper outside tv. It’s very heavy so make sure you mount it in a stable spot but it has a lot of weatherproof stuff on it so I’m assuming that’s why it’s heavy. I got the part sun model even though my deck isn’t covered but I can still see the picture really well. We’ve had a lot of parties on my deck and I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on it. The TV sees a lot of different weather where I live and has had no issues (I do put a cover on it when it’s not being used, though). Would recommend. Thanks. Read more
