Smooth
I am one of those weirdos that like a certain texture paper, and it must be wide ruled. I also hate white paper because of the reflection of it under fluorescent lights and the sun. I purchased this paper for the colors, and I was very pleased to see what a great, smooth texture the paper had. I take my handwriting very serious, and this paper makes me feel like my pen is a hot knife going through butter. I am also in farm research, so to use this paper to collect data while I’m outside on a sunny day has made it so much easier on my eyes!! I will buy again. Read more

The colors are much deeper than I had expected. The weight of the paper is very heavy. The lines start a little higher on the page than I expected. Read more

Darker Colors Legal Pad; Perfect for Gold, White or Silver Ink
Taking notes for my job, the ideal pad I need is a legal pad to write down as my as I can on one sheet of paper. I typically need different colored legal pads to keep track of different projects at work. These colored legal pads are ruled and are darker colors. There are 3 hole punched and the tops are glued so you are write as needed without the papers slipping. The nut colors are as stated in the ad. For best use you will need a lighter color ink to use best. Gold, white or silver ink pens would work when writing on these pads. The typical colors of black and blue are harder to read as the paper is already so dark. Overall, the legal pads would be a great asset to any office that needs to keep track of notes using a color coded system and already have a variety of light color pens to use. Read more
Very nice notepads
These are great quality notepads, though a little pricey...but I feel like any color paper notepad like these are on the high side. There are a nice variety of colors and seems pretty gender neutral for anyone's use. If these are in your budget, I think they are a nice addition to your stationary supply. Read more
Not college ruled
On my Amazon search I specified college ruled. I now see it is listed as wide ruled on one image, but adding in the title “for college” gave me an inaccurate search result. I like the paper but am disappointed in thick lines. Read more
