Picked up these shorts for workouts and being outside. I got the light gray color so it would reflect as much light as possible. I stayed cool wearing them and didn't get sweaty, so I think the moisture wicking works. They were comfortable to move around in. The zippered pocket was perfect for my phone, it can't slip out and it didn't flop around while I was running. The material is thick enough to not be transparent but it isn't hot. The description is incorrect about the fabric composition, it's in fact 100% polyester. The care tag says to machine was cold and tumble dry low, which is convenient. The cut of the 7" inseam is flattering and the fit for size M is normal to slightly smaller than usual. The black band around the top of the waistband is a slightly odd-looking design choice - it sort of seems like my underwear is out and showing, but I think it may prevent sweat stains and thus extend the life of the shorts.
