These are really cute. Just what I was looking for. I’m 5’9, size 2X, and the length is good. They are a little snug in the hips and thighs, but that’s not a problem area for me. So first off, these are super light, flowy, and comfy. I love that the long sizes off this tall girl the inseam it takes to rock a wide leg like this. The pockets are deep enough to truly hold your whole phone and sitting down just fine. Now for the misses. There's a wide leg, and then there's starting to look a bit messy. This fabric is so light and breezy, but it's also wrinkle prone (tag said hand wash only? But everything I own has to survive being thrown immediately from body into washer, I'm not sorry). With every step, the fabric flops around the legs audibly, and the cargo pockets drive them even farther toward casual. The blush rose color is pretty but if you are anything but reed thin, these might skew toward frumpy. Really like these a lot and ordered another. Great for travel, leisure wear, running errands. Cute and comfy. Amazon recommended I order size XL based on last orders and database. I did but they were too large. I should have trusted the measurements provided by seller and not Amazon. Very loose in the thighs and legs. I ordered L and much better, still loose because that is just the way the pants are designed to be and hang. Perfect length not touching ground but to top and a little bit past the shoe (Birks or tennis shoes). For reference I am just under 5’7”. I weigh 180 and body shape is rectangular (hips, waist and bust measurements are about equal). Nice thin-medium weight not thin or thick. that is Slight stretch but loosely hangs nicely, no wrinkles. I'm on the fence about these pants, but settled on four stars. They seem well made and the sizing chart guided me to the right size and inseam, so that's a win. When the pants arrived, I knew they were "lightweight," but they are a thinner "tech" style fabric (you know the kind - smooth and a little noisy). They are comfortable, but in the light shade I got, I don't think they are particularly flattering. They cling a little to my butt and thighs and they show off panty lines in a major way. I don't mind that in general, but I don't like when its glaringly obvious. I don't have any photos, but I think other reviews that show off the light pants give an example of what I'm talking about. I think getting these in one of the darker shades - like Black or Navy Blue - would eliminate this problem. But I was looking for something cool and lightweight for hot summer months. I usually walk in the same leggings I wear to studio classes and its just too hot for that in the summer where. I live. Read more
